The Rotary Business Partners Scheme has been instigated, in conjunction with our website, to develop closer contacts with and support from local businesses.
It enables members of the local business community to help the Rotary Club of Shaftesbury meet the many needs that exist locally and to give your business publicity. Please click on the logos to visit their website.
In addition to their generous support, we also raise funds through our 3 main social events: The North Dorset Cycle Ride, Gold Hill Fair/Festival and the Golf Day.
These businesses are integral to our vibrant town, contributing to local employment and the economy, entertainment, sport and many other services. They all understand the need to be part of the community, they are important in the structure that makes Shaftesbury and the surrounding area a good place to live, work, shop, do business and enjoy.
One, amongst many successful events, is our annual signature outing when we take some 70 children with special needs from Yewstock School to Longleat for a wonderful day out. We provide the transport, food and drink, as well as any ice cream and sweets, all in conjunction with Frome, Sturminster and Gillingham Rotary.
