Community Directory. Preliminary work and fact finding is underway. Local groups will be invited to submit their contact details for inclusion in the directory.
Summer fund raising event – with the monthly markets coming to an end, there has been further discussion about the possibility and ideas for a summer event.
18th August. International projects. We continue to support Shelterbox, Lend with care, Polio Plus to name a few.
The Lendwithcare initiative is a charity supported by Rotary clubs that aims to help low-income entrepreneurs in developing countries work their way out of poverty. Rotary clubs have collectively lent over £1.3 million to support this initiative since its inception in 2011.
We received a welcome four figure donation from Riviera Travel, who give 10% of any holiday booked back to Rotary Clubs – Advertorial: Riviera Travel – Rotary Digital – October 2024
We also agreed to support the “Pass Wide and Slow” event to raise awareness of horses on the road.
