Monday 14th

President Peter welcomed Beverly, who brings greetings from Sydney Cove Rotary Club on a visit from Australia.  After a brief round up of the upcoming events, 120 club draw and Rotary business, We welcomed Derek Beer, Eileen Crew and her granddaughter Tara to update the club on the wide ranging Hope projects,  Hope to Bake, Hope to Cycle, Hope to Grow and the more recent addition of the Community Front Room and Drop In Centre.

Monday 21st

Our monthly Council and business meeting included discussion on the recent Gold Hill Festival, North Dorset Cycle Ride review and early plans for 2024, a proposed Halloween children’s event for October, the forthcoming visit of Rotarians from our twin club of Heerlen van Rode. The new website is now live and we would welcome feedback for improvement. Forthcoming events include a theatre visit, Longford Castle visit, Bingo night, Circus Bezerkus and a Burns night in the new year.
