Tennis Club, Pythouse

Pythouse Club was originally built by the Bennets, owners of magnificent Pythouse, for the use of visiting cricket teams. Over time and several generations Pythouse Club evolved in to a place for local families to swim, play tennis, cricket and squash and enjoy the outdoors in quiet beautiful countryside. The original Clubhouse fell into disrepair but it has been re-born, designed by architect Joshua Berry, and built to an exceptionally high standard by local craftsmen in selected natural materials. It offers an elegant club room, changing rooms and showers, wi-fi, and a counter style kitchen for events. The club is able to offer membership for players as full tennis-playing members, or for others as social members enjoying the use of the club house. Membership may be restricted when lists are full.
