BVLC is one of more than 45,000 Lion Clubs worldwide. We all exist to raise money for worthwhile causes (disaster relief, health, youth development, poverty alleviation, community activities) on an international, national, regional or local level. We do this in fellowship and community through social events and local activities. We are always out raising money through bucket collections, charitable events-bingo etc, lotteries and raffles, the odd half marathon (and other sports events) or two and helping other charities.
